Enemy Territory: Quake Wars: Trailer

The promising new shooter from Splash Damage, id Software and Activision - direct feed trailer inside.

Keeping word-of-mouth at peak levels, Activision once again decided to show off several games at last month's E3 show in trailer form only, with not a spot of online direct feed in sight. But that's all changing starting today, as the publisher dishes out a lovely trailer for one such E3 title, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars for the PC.

Developed by Splash Damage and built on id Software's new "MegaTexture" rendering technology, Quake Wars pits the armies of Earth against the invading alien Strogg in an online strategic shooter. The game boasts strategic team play, persistent character promotions, day and nighttime combat missions, and "the universe's most powerful weapons and vehicles".

Check out this first ever direct feed version of the trailer, to get a better impression of the realistic dynamic lighting and shadowing from headlights, searchlights and even the moon. Maybe.
