Silent Hill Origins Scares the PSP

Metal Gear Solid may finally be coming to the PSP in its traditional form, but that's not the only series Konami is bringing over intact to Sony's portable. The company has announced that it's working on a new game in the popular Silent Hill series for the PSP.
When a truck driver finds himself stranded in Silent Hill, his past comes back to haunt him as he has hallucinations about disturbing events that have befallen him. Your task in Silent Hill Origins is to help him escape from the cursed burg.
Like with Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Konami is redesigning the Silent Hill series' camera for something more befitting of the PSP. The developer is promising better exploration and combat, such as the new barricade system that lets you slow down your pursuers by dragging furniture or other items into their path.
"Silent Hill Origins delivers all the terrifying moments, gruesome enemies and memorable characters and story-telling the series is known for on to a handheld gaming system," says Konami's Hans-Joachim Amann.
"Players can now experience greater freedom with the game's enhanced combat and barricade systems and also learn how the chilling events of later Silent Hill games were set in motion."
See for yourself when the game comes to PSP towards the end of the year.
