Half-Life 2: Episode Two: Video Blowout!

The incredible Half-Life 2 series is gearing up for its latest outing in the shape of Half-Life 2: Episode Two, what Valve describes as its very own "Two Towers, before the Return of the King finale with Episode Three".

The pant-wettingly enticing strategy of offering fans episodic follow-up content to the landmark sequel, which debuted back in 2004, has been the subject of interest and debate. But we're sure that when you see this huge Episode Two video blowout you'll once again be excited about the steady flow of immense quality that Valve is delivering through Steam to PC gamers and, later, to both Xbox 360 and PS3 owners too.

We have five gameplay videos of Episode Two in action, as well as a HD trailer for the second in the episodic follow-up trilogy. Even better, we also have a trailer AND gameplay footage from the mind-warping Portal, which was first revealed back at EA's Summer Showcase event, as well as HD trailer for Team Fortress 2, a visually striking and surprising multiplayer game, all of which is included in the overall "Episode Two" product from Valve.

This bundle demonstrates the true world-class level of Valve's output, and frankly we can't wait to see what they have in store for the future. Valve bigwig Doug Lombardi told Kikizo that they're "targeting Q1 2007 for Episode Two on all three platforms".
