Even the Man of Steel won't be able to survive this insult.

EA has done a poor job of meeting its development targets in some respects lately. First there was The Godfather, whose delay cost the company dearly last year, and then Superman Returns: The Videogame missed the movie's debut in cinemas this summer. The company was eventually able to get the game out in time for the DVD release this autumn, but having played it now, I wonder whether EA should have bothered.
"One of the biggest problems facing the makers of both the movie and the game was to make Superman's flying believable."
If that was all EA needed to get right I would have congratulated the development team on a job done. Unfortunately, the rest of the game is rubbish. It suffers the sort of licensed game malady that has plagued the industry seemingly forever, miring you in leaden, unresponsive controls and tired cameras. Even the loading times are insulting. The only plus point is that the game doesn't last very long.
