Xbox 360 Succumbs to F.E.A.R.
Vivendi ends the yes-it-is-no-it-isn't cycle on a yes. First console screen.
The rumour-deny-confirm route of game announcement is rapidly becoming the norm among companies unable to clamp down on their development secrets. Vivendi is the latest player, the company having confirmed the strenuously denied whispers and revealed that it's bringing F.E.A.R. to the Xbox 360.
F.E.A.R. was released on the PC last year and garnered praise for its heady mix of close-quarters combat and shooting gameplay and its unflinching atmosphere and paranormal story.
For the Xbox 360 version, developer Monolith is partnering with MechAssault makers Day One Studios in bringing not only the award-winning single- and multiplayer gameplay over to Microsoft's new box but more of both too.
Things are still hush-hush on exactly what the new content will include as Vivendi will be debuting the Xbox 360 version of F.E.A.R. at next week's Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.
